Where you will find us

Belleville Lake stretches eight miles through Van Buren Township, and the town builds its whole calendar around it. So do we.

• Belleville Lake Fest in the summer, down at the water.
• Egan’s car show on Monday nights, which is somehow the most reliable social event in town.
• The farmers market, and honestly most weekends downtown.
• Frost Boys, because ice cream is a legitimate part of pediatric care.

Good places to take kids around here

• Horizon Park for the boardwalk, the kayak launch, and the best sunset on the lake.
• Victory Park at Five Points for the playground and the gazebo.
• Village Park on Savage Road for the ADA accessible playground, trails, and courts.
• Van Buren Park for the beach, the trails, and the birding along the water.

Working with local schools

We do not have a formal partnership with Van Buren Public Schools or the local preschools yet, but we would like one. If your school, team, or church group could use a pediatrician for a health talk, a screening day, or a sports physical event, get in touch. We would rather show up than send a flyer.

Specialists and referrals

When a child needs care we do not provide, we do not just hand you a phone number. We refer to University of Michigan, Corewell Health, Trinity Health, Henry Ford Health System, and Children’s Hospital of Michigan, and we help you actually get in the door.
